These were first brought to my attention when an
associate of mine found a purchased one of these units at a Toys
'R' Us store. Soon most of The Firm had aquired one. More Toys
'R' Us store raids were organized. We are personally responsible
for buying out at least two Toys 'R' Us store's supply of VLinks.
We also have VLink carrying cases and VLink recharges with the
rechargible battery pack.
Many different hacks have been proposed. One of the first mods
that must be made is to increase the range (which is currently
very low, approx. 40-50 feet). Moderate success has been
achieved by simply replacing the AA batteries with C batteries to
increase the current. This mod doubled to tripled the range.
